My Food Storage Deals is going to be on KSL 5 with Nadine Wimmer tonight at 10pm! Yes, you heard me right! We are being heard. Thank you for all your emails you have sent.

This is how it all happened. I sent an email to KSL last night informing them about our website and what we offer. I recieved a call from them this morning and they told me they would be here in ONE HOUR! So it was crunch time to make sure my food storage room looked great! My stomach was filled with butterflies, but I was ready to tell the state of Utah all about us.

Check out their website http://www.ksl.com/ to watch the live video and read the transcripts!

Just saw this on KSL's website. It was very inspiring. I would love to have as much food in my pantry as you do!

I've just spent the past 4 hours going through your entire blog and your website! My parents are really serious about food storage. But one suggestion, I notice you usually just focus on the food aspect. I'd like to see at least one entry on the importance of tampons, diapers, cash, and gas. My mother told me during the hurricane Katrina disaster the three things everyone wished they had more of were tampons, diapers and water. I know that I dont miss having to run to the store at 3 in the morning because I realized I dont have any tampons! My husband and I also started, just within the past 6 months, always making sure we have at least a half tank of gas in our vehicles at all times. When we get to the half mark we consider that as 'empty' and go straight to the gas station. Then we know we have enough gas to at least take us up into the mountains, or for a fire, or even if we need to drive to our parent's homes. My sister was living in Texas when a hurricane was coming. She said thousands of people were stranded on the side of the freeway, only able to get halfway out of the city because they ran out of gas. And the stations had all ran out. She did mention that her friend bought a gallon of gas off a guy for $30. He actually outbought someone that only had a credit card on him! So cash is an important thing to have too!
Although, I did enjoy your website/blog! I'm pretty proud of my foodstorage and spending habits also! I'm excited to buy our first home so I can have a bit more room for more stuff!!!

I have been recieving your newsletter for months thanks to my husband finding your website. We live in Arizona, so we don't get to take advantage of most of the grocery store deals, but your website has really helped me know what to get and how much. We just have to pay a little more here. I was shocked when I saw the KSL footage and realized I know you! We went to middle school and high school together and graduated the same year. I know we had a few classes together over those six years. I couldn't believe that someone our age could be such an expert at food storage and make such an amazing website! I am really impressed! You do great work. I hope to one day be living back in Utah so I can take better advantage of what you provide. Thanks!
