My Food Storage Deals: Case Lot Time!

Case Lot Time!

>> Monday, January 4, 2010

Yeah! Case lot time is here again (at least in Utah and surrounding states)! Case lot sales keep getting earlier and earlier. I think the stores' are trying to take advantage of our 'new years resolutions' to get food storage. Either way, I am excited! I have had several people tell me they are feeling anxious lately to get their food storage in order, and this is the PERFECT time to do that! Take inventory of what you have, (our FREE Food Storage Inventory Sheet is AWESOME and can be printed from our website to help with this), and then stock up on those RED deals (those who are members to Deals to Meals will be told which items in the case lot sales are the best deals--meaning LESS than Walmart, the LDS Cannery, and Costco). Some deals are FABULOUS and others are not so great. To save you the most money, try to only stock up on those items that can not be bought for less elsewhere.

I was hoping sugar would go on sale for less during case lot, and so far, we are in luck! Harmons has their sugar (25lb. bag) on sale for $10.99. This is less than Walmart, Costco, and the Cannery. Smith's grocery store will be having their case lot this week as well, so we will see if their prices are low as well :)

Have fun shopping!
